Our accommodation pairs a luxury converted vintage horsebox with The Piggery, now a stylish private kitchen and bathroom. Everything is tucked into its own courtyard with beautiful views across the Normandy countryside.
The sleeping area has a full-spec double mattress dressed in 100% French linen, with an electric under-blanket for colder nights. You will also find generous storage, solid oak floors and window reveals, and a carefully curated interior blending mid-century style with French antiques.
Guests arrive through ornate iron gates and drive to their own secluded area of the hamlet. You have sole use of both the horsebox and the converted old piggery throughout your stay.
Natural materials, thoughtful styling, and a cozy woodburner create a rich, restful atmosphere.
La Busliere is set in a peaceful Normandy hamlet near Saint-Cyr-du-Bailleul, ideal for nature walks, local markets, and quiet countryside escapes.
A disused train-track trail, La Veloscenie runs from Paris through our village of Saint-Cyr-du-Bailleul all the way to Le Mont-Saint-Michel, ideal if you enjoy cycling or walking long-distance routes.
Rural location ideal for drivers, cyclists, and walkers/ramblers.

Bonjour! We are Yip + Paul, Originally from Kent back in England. In 2019 quite by chance we ended up buying an abandoned hamlet steeped in history in the stunning Normandy countryside called La Busliรจre. We are breathing new life into the hamlet which had been abandoned for almost 30 years! You can follow our journey on โHelp! We Bought a Villageโ on Channel 4 (UK TV) or our YouTube channel (Yip + Paulโs Help! We Bought a French Village)
